1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 tbsp sour milk (milk & vinegar)*
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2 to 3 mashed ripe bananas

Directions:

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or so – use a toothpick to check doneness.

I won many 1st place ribbons at 4-H fairs with this recipe. It’s very good and moist!!
