1/2 cup softened butter
6 oz softened cream cheese
3/4 cup sifted AP flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 Tblsp ice water
Apricot preserves
Minced nuts
Confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º.

Cut butter and cream cheese into flour and salt with pastry cutter. Add ice water and mix lightly with a fork until blended. Chill until firm.

Cut into 24 pieces. Keep dough chilled until ready to roll out. Roll each piece on a well floured surface into a 2 1/2 " x 3" square.

Spread each square with preserves and sprinkle with nuts. Roll up one corner and then bend other corners to form crescent shape. Put folded side down on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for about 10 minutes. Cool on a rack. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar..
