1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs - divided
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Strawberry preserves

CREAM:
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar

ADD & MIX:
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla

THEN ADD:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat egg whites til watery.
Roll 1 inch dough balls and drop in whites- then roll in chopped nuts
Bake on ungreased sheet for 5 minutes at 375º, poke finger and bake again for 8 minutes
