Directions:Scald the milk, let cool, then add your 2 pkgs yeast. Add all the other ingredients for dough and mix well. I use my kitchen Aid mixture to make a nice dough. Let the dough rise for about one hour in a nice warm place.
Split dough into four pieces. Roll one piece of dough into a rectangle shape. Spread melted butter, sugar/cinnamon mixture over the dough. Roll the dough up as a jelly roll and cut into 2-3" sections. Place each section off to the side.
Continue to do this same procedure using all four pieces of dough.
Take the bun topping and put that syrupy mixture into the bottom of the greased baking pan. You can use a 9x13" pan or several small square pans. I like the smaller pans. Place the rolled up sugar/cinnamon pieces on top of the lprepared bun topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the buns are golden brown. When you take the pan out of the oven, flip the pan over onto a cookie sheet (line the cookie sheet with tin foil or wax paper for easy clean up). Now the gooey bun topping will make a nice glaze for your sticky buns. |

Notes: You can also add raisins to the filling when you are rolling the dough up. Boil the raisins first for a few minutes, drain, and pat dry them with a paper towel. This will plump up the raisin for a better taste.
