3/4 Cup of firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350º.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In bowl of mixer beat first six ingredients until light and fluffy. Add in rolled oats, mix well. Then mix flour with baking soda into mixture and mix well. Next stir in chocolate pieces, candy and nuts making sure to mix well.

Measure out 1/3 cup of dough and shape into a ball. Place six cookies on each cookie sheet flattening cookies just slightly.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 2 to 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Place on a cooling rack and cool completely.
