1/2 c butter
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 c flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix well. Shape into balls. Roll generously in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
