Grandma's the finest cook on earth, she told me long ago. Breads no good unless you add some loven to the dough and when you bake a pie she said a pinch of faith and trust if added to the shortening makes a flaky crust. Compassion by the spoonful in the batter of a cake makes it come out light and fluffy - the finest you can make! Now these things can't be purchased in the store or across the way - but Grandma keeps them in her heart and uses them each and every day!
