1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/3 to 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 to 1/2 cup Pinot Noir
1/3 cup sugar or to taste
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground cardamom or to taste
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Using an immersion blender, whiz all ingredients together. Bring to simmer over medium heat.
Reduce heat to lowest possible setting and let simmer, uncovered, until reduced by 1/2 or 1/3.
Taste frequently to adjust sweet and sour to your liking.
