Ingredients:  
First Part:
1/3 c butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Second Part:
1 c flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c Quaker Oats
3/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first part. Mix second part and add to first part.
Mix well. Roll into balls, about a spoonful each. Press down in pan with a fork, leaving about an inch apart. Bake about 15 minutes at 350º F. Decorate with a cherry if desired. Grease the cookie sheet.
