1 cup butter/margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs evaporated
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts (fine)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together; add egg yolks and beat well. Add flour, chill dough for 1/2 hour. Form into balls, dip in egg whites and roll in nuts. Bake for 8 minutes. Press center in middle then return to oven and bake for another 10 minutes. Cool . Fill center with jam or jelly of your choice.
