1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
16 - 18 large marshmallows

Icing:
6 tbsp butter
2 tbsp baking cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1 3/4 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pecan halves
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix well.
2. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; beat into creamed mixture.
3. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a pre-heated 350º oven for 8 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cut marshmallows in half. Press one half, cut side down onto each cookie. Return to the oven for 2 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
5. Prepare icing - combine butter, cocoa and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Cool slightly then transfer to a small bowl. Add confectioner's sugar and vanilla; beat well.
6. Spread icing over cooled cookies, and top each with a pecan half.
