1 c. butter, room temperature
2 c. sugar
3 extra large eggs
1 Tbs. pure vanilla
1 c. sour cream (We used raw milk and let cream rise to top of container. We carefully spooned off the top 1 c. cream for this recipe.)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl mix sour cream and baking soda. Set aside.
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and eggs. Add vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternately add sour cream and flour mixture to butter mixture, ending with flour.
Refrigerate dough 1 hour.
Grease 9"x13" cookie sheet.
Roll out dough to about 1/4". Use floured glass to cut out round shapes.
Bake at 375º 8-10 minutes, or very lightly browned. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
