1 lb. dry white Northern beans
water for soaking
1 C. onion, diced fine
2 slices cooked bacon, cut into small pieces
1/4 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. dark molasses
1 T. brown mustard
2 T. ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 C. water

Soak beans in a container of water overnight. Drain and rinse. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker; set on low. Cook for 6 hours.
