4 cups cubed day old bread
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
t tsp dry mustard
dash of pepper
10 eggs, lightly beaten
4 cups milk
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 lb ground breakfast sausage, browned & strained

Assemble the night before:

Generously butter an 9 x 13 pan. Arrange bread cubes in dish and sprinkle with cheese. Beat together the dry mustard, pepper, eggs and milk and pour over the bread and cheese. Sprinkle the sausage over top and refrigerate over night.

Preheat oven to 325º. Bake uncovered for about an hour (you may need to cook it for a little longer). Tent with foil if it begins to get too brown. Let set up for about 5 minutes.
