2 lbs. pinto beans
6 tsp. chili powder
2 tablespoon salt
2 lb. ground beef
3 oz. onion chopped
2 tsp. garlic powder
16 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tsp. cumin

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight. Or quick soak (on pkg.)
In large pot cook beans, 5 teaspoons Chili powder and salt until done. Approx. 2 hours.
In skillet brown beef and onion. Drain and add 1 tsp. chili powder, garlic powder, tomato sauce and cumin. Mix all with beans and cook at least 30 minutes

You can cook beans the day ahead or in crock pot.
