4 large artichokes
1/4 c balsamic vinegar
2 TBSP water
1/4 c soy sauce
1 TBSP ginger, minced
1 TBSP garlic, minced
1/4 c olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Slice artichoke tops off, trim stems. Boil until bottoms pierce easily about 25 minutes. Drain and cool. Cut each artichoke in half lengthwise and scrape out fuzzy center and any purple tipped petals. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over artichoke halves. Marinate up to 24 hours, turning occasionally. Turn on grill to medium heat. Grill until lightly browned on cut side about 5-7 minutes. Turn artichokes over and grill petals for 3-4 minutes. No dip needed.
