"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
After a trip to NC where we had pulled pork, I vowed to recreate their recipe & think I got pretty close! I typically cook one whole pork loin in a crock pot overnight with a large chopped sweet onion placed under the pork. The next morning, I drain the liquid, mince the pork finely with my fingers & pour the entire contents of this recipe onto the pork before returning to the heat of the crock pot & before serving. Delicious & freezable, this one's a crowd pleaser and a family favorite!
