1/3 c melted butter
1 c sugar
3 tbsp lemon juice ( I used fresh squeezed)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 c milk
2 tbsp grated lemon zest
1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional)
6 oz. fresh or frozen blackberries

Glaze:
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 c confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, 1 cup sugar, juice and eggs
Combine flour, baking powder and salt
Stir into egg mixture alternately with milk
Fold in lemon zest, nuts, and blueberries.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan
Bake at 350º for 60 to 70 minutes.

For glaze, combine glaze ingredients and mix well. Drizzle over bread.
