2 large eggs
1/2 C all-purpose flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
3/4 C (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C nuts, chopped
1 unbaked 9 in deep-dish pie shell (Can use a thawed frozen pie shell from grocery store, but fresh does taste better! Bake on baking sheet if using)

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.

Bake 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream and sprinkle with extra nuts, mini chocolate chips if desired.

I first tried this at a charming restaurant called, The Dodo, in Salt Lake City. I kept going back just for this dessert until I found the recipe on the back of the Costco Nestle Toll House bags! That was a beautiful day.
