Ingredients:
3 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 T sugar
1 T yeast
1 1/2 C water, warm
1/4 C butter or olive oil, separated

Directions:
Directions:
Add yeast and sugar to warm water. Add remaining dry ingredients to bowl, preferably a Kitchen Aid stand mixer or Bosch bread mixer. Once yeast mixture blooms, add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do NOT over-mix). I use the paddle attachment with my Kitchen Aid.

Rest dough 10 min. Melt 1/2 the butter or use olive oil to coat a 9 x 13 pan. Divide dough into 12 and roll into sticks. Place length-wise in pan, 6 to each side. Raise 20 min. Top with remaining butter or olive oil and sprinkle with desired topping. (I use garlic salt, parmesan cheese and dill).

Bake 375 º for 20 min.

I haven't tried this yet, but realized the other day that if you used butter to coat the pan and top the dough, another great topping would be cinnamon and sugar!
