1 lb active dry yeast (2 cups)
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
5 Cups Warm Water
2 1/2 Gallons Water
3 Dozen eggs
3 Cups Granulated Sugar
3 Cups Crisco shortening
1/4 Cup Salt
25 lb all - purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast plus 1 cup sugar in 5 cups warm water.
Mix eggs, 3 cups sugar, shortening, and salt in large tub.
Add yeast mixture mix well
Add rest of water or you can use milk as long as it is 2 1/2 gallons.
Add flour it takes about 25 pounds of flour to stiffen this dough. Damp weather demands more flour. Mix well let rise. Knead well Roll out and cut. Then rolls are put into bake pan and turned over in melted shortening. Let rise till double in size.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 - 20 minutes.
