4 c. Fresh broccoli florets
1/2 to 3/4 c. Thinly sliced red onion
1 c. Dried cranberries
1/3 c. Crumbled cooked bacon
1/2 c. Mayonnaise
1/2 c. Half and half cream
3 T. Sugar
Nuts - optional

Directions:
Directions:
In large salad bowl, combine the broccoli, onion, cranberries and bacon. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, cream and sugar until smooth. . Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate until serving.

When making this salad, I use the fat free half and half, Splenda instead of sugar, fat free mayonnaise and I add nuts. The following nutrition facts does not include nuts or the other changes that I have made to the salad. Nutrition Facts: 1 serving is 3/4 cup, 284 calories, 18 g fat, 21 mg cholesterol, 322 mg sodium, 27 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 5 g protein
