1 c. margarine
2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugar. Add egg & vanilla. Beat. Add flour, soda and salt. Add nuts if desired. Form into small balls. Roll in sugar and flatten with fork or glass. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350º.
