★ 1½ lb. left over pork roast
★ ½ cup white onion, finely diced
★ 2 T. butter
★ ¼ cup apple juice
★ ¼ cup brown sugar
★ ½ cup ketchup
★ ½ tsp. ground mustard
★ ¼ tsp. garlic powder
★ ½ T. Worcestershire sauce
★ ½ cup bottled barbecue sauce

Directions:

With 2 forks shred pork and salt it. In 3 quart sauce pan saute onion in butter. Add rest of ingredients and the salted pork and mix well. Cook on medium-low heat for 45 minutes, uncovered. Stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger buns with mustard, pickles or condiments of choice.
Makes 6 to 8 sandwiches.
