3 cups sliced apples
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 eggs
l cup raisins
l cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples and sugar and let stand in a bowl for10 minutes. Sift dry ingredients and add to apples. Melt butter/margarine and add to apples with 2 eggs lightly beaten.

Blend by hand until thoroughly mixed. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into greased 10" bundt pan. Bake at 350º for 50-60 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
