5 APPLES, peeled, cored, and sliced/ Granny Smith type

3/4 c. PURE MAPLE SYRUP mag - recommend reducing the syrup to
1/2 c., as many reviewers found this crisp extremely sweet.

1/2 c. all-purpose FLOUR

1/2 c. rolled OATS

1/2 c. packaged BROWN SUGAR

1 pinch SALT

1/2 c. BUTTER, softened

Directions:

Preheat over to 375 degrees.

Put apples in an 8x8-inch baking dish, the add syrup and toss until apples are covered.

In a bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, and salt, Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture every over apples.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown, Serve until topping is golden brown.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
