1 cup of margarine or butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups oats, uncooked
1 cup walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips, mix well. Place teaspoon size round balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack.
