1 lb. nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, peanuts, etc.)
2 egg whites
1/2 - 3/4 c. honey, depending on desired sweetness
1/4 c. melted butter
pinch of salt
pinch of cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Place nuts on a large shallow pan and toast in oven at 300ºF for 10 minutes. Beat egg whites with salt until peaks form. Gradually add honey and continue beating until honey and egg whites are thoroughly mixed. Fold in nuts and cinnamon.

Coat the pan with melted butter. Spread nut and egg white mixture over buttered pan. Bake in oven for 30 minutes, turning nuts every 10 minutes until butter disappears. Let cool in pan. Cut or break into bite-size pieces and store in covered container.
