½ cup oleo
½ tsp. Nutmeg
1 cup shortening
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup molasses
1 ¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
½ tsp. Cloves
1 tsp. Soda in a little water
½ tsp. Ginger
4 ¼ cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Bring lard, oleo, molasses, and spices to a boil. Then cool. Add the sugar, eggs, soda in water, and flour to this mixture. Roll in a long strip as a pencil. Cut in small pieces. Bake at 350 degrees 8 – 10 minutes.
