2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained. Add 1 med. onion in last few
minutes.
1 can Ranch Style beans (or any brand pinto beans) ( do NOT drain)
1 can kidney beans (I just add another can of Ranch Style beans)
1 can corn
1 can of Rotel Mexican tomatoes w/chiles
1 large can stewed tomatoes (small chop size in blender)
1 ½ cup water

Add Later
1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing dry mix.
Add 1 envelope of Taco seasoning.

The above are the basic soup ingredients. Get them started
in a large pot. Do Not drain any of the vegetables.
Once it is hot and cooking well add: 1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch
Dressing dry mix. (Best to add to a small amount of hot liquid first;then
add to entire pot. Add 1 envelope of Taco seasoning. Stir from time to time to blend well. Cook until reduced some. 30 minutes if in a hurry but I think it tastes best when cooked about 1 hour.'

Serve with corn bread

This recipe was given to me from my Aunt who is from Texas. We always serve it with corn bread muffins. on top of the soup.
