3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/3 cup butter
TOPPING:
1/3 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all sweet potato mixture ingredients above until smooth. Pour into 2 qt. casserole dish. Mix all topping ingredients and spread over sweet potato mixture.
Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes

When my sister in law made it for the first time it was my favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal. She served the sweet potatoes in a big bowl (not a pie crust). Now that I sent it on to my family in Minnesota it has become their new tradition! My brothers insists that this be served at ALL holidays, and not just Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
