500 g chicken livers ( 2 x 250 g packets )
2 medium-sized onions
2 cloves garlic
6 rashers bacon, rindless
60 ml ( 4 T ) margarine
5 ml ( 1 t ) mixed herbs
5 ml ( 1 t ) chopped parsley
10 ml ( 2 t ) dry mustard
30 ml ( 2 T ) Worcestershire sauce
30 ml ( 2 T ) brandy or dry sherry
2,5 ml ( ½ t ) Tabasco sauce
Salt to taste
30 ml ( 2 T ) melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Finely chop the livers, onions, garlic and bacon.
Sauté in the heated margarine.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the melted butter, and purée the mixture when cooked through .
Pour into bowls and cover with melted butter.
Store in the fridge or freezer until required.
