candy thermostat
1/2 large Hershey bar (melted)
1 pound butter
2 cups sugar
cut up salted almonds (cover bottom of jelly roll pan)
cut walnuts
cook in a 10 inch iron skillet

Directions:
Directions:
cut up toasted salted almonds & put in bottom of buttered jelly roll pan
(cut up walnuts over the top of the melted chocolate put on after)

Cook 1 pound butter & 2 cups sugar in a 10 inch iron skillet
stirring constantly on medium heat with a large long handled spoon to hard crack on candy thermometer.
Pour over almonds
cover with 1/2 large Hershey bar (melted)
sprinkle on walnuts
let it cool
break into pieces hitting it with a butter knife handle
