1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup salted broken cashews

2 cups flour sifted with:
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:

combine sugar & butter
add egg & vanilla - beat well
sift dry ingredients add alternately with sour cream, stir in nuts- drop on greased cookie sheet
Bake 400º 8 to 10 minutes
Frost with golden butter icing when cooled

heat & stir 3 tsp. butter (till brown)
remove from heat & slowly beat in 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
2 Tbs. milk
1tsp. vanilla
