2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/3 c. lard
2 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
1 c. scalded milk
3/4 c. water
4 c. sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble yeast in lukewarm water an let dissolve 5-15 min. Mix lard, salt and sugar and add scalded milk and water. Stir until cool to lukewarm, add yeast gradually. Add flour beating thoroughly. Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour. Stir down and let rise again about 1/2 hour. Use 1/4 dough on floured board, handle like pie crust. Roll to 1 in. thick. Add filling and bake like you would cinnamon rolls.
