3 Lbs chicken or 6 chicken breasts and or 6 chicken thighs
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 cup butter
1 cup rice
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 med onion
1 tsp parsley flakes
3 cups hot water
3 T chicken bouillon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Melt butter in a 9x13 pan in the oven. Mix seasonings and flour in a paper or plastic bag, mix then coat chicken pieces with flour mixture. Place skin side down in melted butter. Bake for 30 minutes, take chick out of pan. Mix rice, celery, chopped onion and parsley flakes together and place in pan. Top with chicken, turn chicken pieces over so brown side down. Pour hot water and bouillon over chicken and rice, cover and bake 30-45 minutes longer.
Take cover off last 10 minutes and let the chicken brown, at this point you may need to add a bit more hot water, so rice is not dry.
