1/2 c peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 c water
2 sticks butter
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 unbeaten eggs
1/2 c buttermilk (or 1/2 c milk and 1/2 tbsp vinegar)

Frosting:
1/2 c peanut butter
1 stick butter
6 tbsp buttermilk
4 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Bring to a boil 1/2 c peanut butter, 1 c water and 2 sticks butter. In separate bowl mix flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Pour the hot mixture over the flour mixture. Mix and add 2 eggs and 1/2 c buttermilk. Pour batter into greased and floured sheet pan.

Bake at 350º for 20 minutes and frost cake while warm.

Frosting:
Bring to a boil- 1/2 c peanut butter, 1 stick butter and 6 tbsp buttermilk and pour over 4 c powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and mix well. Frost cake quickly while frosting is hot.
