1 box Devils Food Cake
1 c chopped walnuts
1/2 gallon coffee ice cream
3/4 c chocolate syrup
3/4 c walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Make the devil's food cake according to directions on package adding he chopped walnuts. Bake at 350º in three 9" cake pans for 18-20 minutes. Cut a 1/2 gallon coffee ice cream block from carton and slice into 12 1/2" thick slices. Place one cake layer on serving plate, layer with ice cream, 1/4 c chocolate syrup, and 1/4 c walnuts. Repeat layers twice with more cake, ice cream, syrup and nuts. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
