1/4 c. oil
1 lb chicken
1 1/2 lb sausage
4 c. onions
2 c. celery
2 c. green peppers
1 tsp brown sugar
4 c. long grain rice
5 c. chicken bouillons
3 tsp salt
1 c. green onions
1 c. parsley, chopped
1 toe garlic, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' sausage in oil; remove from pot. Season and brown chicken; remove from pot. Add brown sugar to oil and caramalize. Saute' onion, celery, green peppers and garlic until tender. Return chicken and sausage to pot and simmer. Add bouillon and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add rice and return to boil. Cover and simmer at reduced heat. Cook for 30-35 minutes without peeking! Add green onion and parsley after cooked. Uncle Ben's rice works best!
