1 1/2 c softened butter
1 c sugar
1 c packed brown sugar
3 eggs
4 1/2 c flour
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c chopped pecans
6 oz chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
In mixer, cream butter gradually and add sugar beating on low till light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla beating well. In seperate bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Sir well and add to creamed mixture beating only till blended. Sir in chips and nuts.

Shape dough in 3 logs about 2" in diameter and wrap each in wax paper and freeze 2-8 hours. Unwrap and cut into 1/4" slices.

Bake on ungresed cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 350º
