1 3/4 C flour
1 t soda
1/2 C br. sugar
1/2 C sugar
1/2 t salt
1 egg
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C shortening
2 T milk
1 t vanilla
about 48 candy kisses
Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingreds except the kisses. Blend well.
2. Shape into balls and roll in sugar.
3. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 10-12 mins.
4. Remove from oven and press a kiss firmly into the center of cookie so the edges crack.
5. Remove to cooling rack and let kiss harden.
