1 1/2 c sugar
2 c water
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 c butter
2/3 c sugar
2 (15 oz) refrigerator pie crust
8 med apples, pealed and cored
3 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1 1/2 c sugar, 2 c water, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg to a boil in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/4 c butter and stir.

Combine 2/3 c sugar with 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.

Cut pie crust in half and roll into 8 circles. Place 1 apple in center of pie crust and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon sugar. Dot evenly with 3 tbsp butter.

Fold dough over apple and pinch to seal. Place in a lightly greased pan, drizzle with syrup.

Bake at 375º for 40-45 minutes.
