1 1/2 c sugar
1 c buttermilk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c oil
3 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 c blackberry jam
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts

Carmel Icing
1 c brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 c powdered sugar sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except the jam, vanilla and nuts. When mixed well add the jam, vanilla and nuts. Bake in a 9x13" pan floured and buttered and paper lined at 350º (till knife comes out clean)

To make icing:
Melt butter and slowly add the milk. Cook for 1 minute longer and then remove from heat. Add 1 tsp vanilla and let cool. Stir in 2 C of the powdered sugar or more until spreadable.
