2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt: set aside. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla, and water: beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Add flour mixture: mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by well-rounded 1/2 tsp. on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375º

This is always a popular cookie. It is the original "Toll House" recipe from the back of Nestle chocolate chips. My mom always used this recipe and we loved the cookies.
