1 cup sugar
3 eggs (separated)
3 Tbs. cold water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon rind grated

Directions:
Directions:
Grease pan with plenty of butter. Beat egg whites till very stiff. In beater bowl beat sugar and egg yolks and lemon juice for 3 min. Add water then flour and baking powder, beat quickly. Then by hand, fold in egg whites and rind. Pour into pan. Cook 25 minutes at 325. (8x8 pan)
