4 cups water
6-8 peppercorns
2 or 3 Bay leaves
salt and pepper
4 good sized onions
2 lbs Pike or Salmon

Directions:

Boil liquid for 15-20 minutes then add vinegar and sugar( make it strong)

KEEP TASTING!!!!
Add slices of fish and bring to boil again and cook for a good 1/2 hour

Put fish in casserole and pour most of juice over it
TRY A LITTLE LESS WATER FOR BOILING!!!
