4 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. mint leaves, washed and taken from stems
3 lemons (grate rind and juice the lemons)

Directions:
Directions:
Make syrup by boiling water and sugar together for 5 minutes. Add mint leaves,grated rind,and lemon juice. Cover. Let stand for 6-8 hours. Strain. To serve, put about 2 inches syrup in a glass and fill with ice and water. May freeze.
