Directions:
Heat ¼ cup butter, 16 oz sour cream, 1/3 c. sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt in a pot. Turn off when melted. In a separate bowl, dissolve 2 packs yeast in 1/2 cup warm water with 1 tablespoon sugar. In another large bowl – add 4 cups flour, 2 eggs, the sour cream mixture and the yeast. Mix well, adding about another cup of flour until it forms a ball. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover until to rise for about 1.5 hours. When done, punch the dough down and divide into half. Roll out into two rectangles. Sprinkle with cinnamon and add cream cheese (or desired filling). Roll up and bring together to form an oval ring. Place on greased pan. Let it rise until it doubles. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Make a powdered sugar icing (mix powdered sugar, very little milk, and a teaspoon of vanilla) and pour on top.
