1/2 c shortening
3/4 c peanut butter
1 1/4 c packed light brown sugar
3 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 c Heath milk chocolate toffee bits, divided

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 375ºF
2. Beat shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large
bowl until well blended.
3. Add egg, beat just until blended.
4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter
butter mixture.
5. Stir in 1 cup toffee bits; reserve remainder for topping.
6. Drop by heaping teaspoons about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet;
tip each with reserved toffee bits
7. Bake 7 - 8 minutes or until set. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
8. Cool 2 minutes, remove to wire rack and cool completely.
