1 9inch pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups finely chopped apple
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
6 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9inch pie plate with the pastry. Bake at 350º for 7 minutes and let it cool. You are only partially baking the crust. Combine sugar and flour. Add sour cream,egg, vanilla and salt. Beat the mixture until it is smooth. Stir in the apples and pour the mixture into the partially baked pie shell. Bake the pie in a very hot oven 450º for about 30 minutes or until the filling is almost set. Make the topping: blend the sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter until the mixture is crumbly. Spread it on the pie and bake it for 10 minutes longer.
